Bengkung belly binding originates from Malaysia as a traditional postpartum care practice of supportive healing for the abdominals and pelvic floor after having a baby. A length of cloth is ceremonially wrapped in a supportive method for restoration for postnatal wellness.
This is a beautiful traditional practice of self care.

We begin by carefully sourcing a premium grade natural unbleached cotton muslin at the ideal weight and weave for supportive belling biding... which we than hand eco ice dye with 100% non-toxic cold water professional grade environmental dyes in our solar powered green dye studio.
Our binds are approximately 9 inches wide by 17 yards long with a slight natural fray or a smooth contouring sewn edge ($14 upgrade)
Our designs and colors are inspired by earths gemstones. We believe by using the colors of the gems, and acknowledging the properties they posses, those whom wear the bind manifest the power of the inspirational gems we referenced in creating the color.
