5/9/2016 0 Comments Cinnamon Berry OatmealCrockpot oatmeal makes breakfast much easier. Start it right before bed, and you have breakfast waiting for you in the morning. The quantity is enough to give breakfast for a few mornings, or makes a delicious afternoon snack. This base oatmeal is delicious with many different toppings, some of my suggested are fresh fruit roasted or sliced nuts such as almonds and walnuts ricotta cheese honey and fresh cream chia seeds cinnamon berry oatmeal recipewhat you need 1–3 quart crockpot 4 cup measuring cup measuring cups and tablespoons spatula stirring spoon Half a tablespoon cinnamon 3 cups water 1 cup milk 2 tablespoons honey 12 ounce bag of frozen mixed berries One cup old-fashioned oats 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Salt to taste toppings of your choice after collecting your ingredients, add 3 cups of water to a 4 cup measuring cup. Add 1 cup milk to the water to bring it up to a full four cups pour the 4 cups of liquid into your crockpot and add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Measure out a cup of oats and add a half a tablespoon of cinnamon into the oats, stirring to disperse the spice. add the 12 ounces of frozen fruits to the crockpot. Stir the oats into the crockpot and add your level of desired salt. Measure out two tablespoons of honey, if the honey is raw and thick, use a small spatula to scoop it out of your tablespoon into the crockpot. stir all ingredients together, and let cook on low for 6–8 hours. top with whatever goodies you desire and enjoy!
